SOLVED BY A TUTOR- Southern New Hampshire University Write a C++ Program Computer Programming Task

I have an assignment where I need to change some functions to detect and prevent overflow/underflow. I am not really sure where to start. It would be really helpful to see code example of how to do this. There are TODOs in the code I provide.
