The current career development activity I am working on now in the human resource field is recruiting, it is my primary focus at work. A short term goal of mine is to assist on the implementation of benefits and payroll for a company new to our brand that was just announced to us this past week at work. The past 2 years I have worked in the training/ onboarding role and in benefits, payroll and its implementation. A rotation of these roles have helped me develop the skills and knowledge needed for an HR business partner role in the future. School is also helping achieve my long term goals as I would like to be SHRM certified in a couple years and receive my bachelors degree.
