Final Reflective Essay: Digital Storytelling
Part I: Stating The Topic
The course topic that impacted me most is digital storytelling, and thus, I chose
to focus on it in this essay. By definition, digital storytelling is a term that refers to
productions created through digital media. These productions allow individuals to
disclose facets of their tales (Lambert, 2013). Some of the media used in such
productions include stills, digital equivalents of video skills such as whole-kinesis films
with reverberation, acoustic-only, as well as any other form of nonphysical media.
Nonphysical media comprises materials that are stored only as electronic files. It,
therefore, excludes photographs or paintings stored in a paper, movies stored in a film,
or sounds stored on discs or tapes. These productions should be in a manner such that
people can use them to present an idea or in this case, present a story. As Lambert,
