SMART Goals Essay Describe the role of goal setting in a practice and demonstrate critical thinking in analyzing client problems and concerns.Clients often come with a problem that needs to be solved. To effectively work toward solving the problem, goal setting is a vital part of our practice. We will be helping clients to develop goals, reduce symptoms, and improve self-sufficiency. It is necessary to identify client needs and goals, and then set goals that effectively allow clients to meaningfully progress. One way to classify goals and ensure that they are effective, is with the SMART goal acronym. Goals need to be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Bound. She needs assistance in becoming financially independent once again, and redesigning her budget to reflect her lifestyle change.”Identify the client goal in this scenario. Apply the SMART characteristics to the goal that you have developed to help Kelly in her situation. Provide at least 2-3 sentences for each SMART attribute, describing how your proposed goal will meet each of these criteria.Provide a concluding paragraph discussing what follow up you would do with Kelly to ensure that she is making progress on her goal.
